 For as long as I can remember I´ve had a passion for photography. I´m always the one to have my camera on hand. I have more photographs than I know what to do with! I have taken various photography classes, but my entrance into the wedding photography industry started, of course, with photographing family members´ weddings. Word of mouth and the experience gained from working as an assistant for some of the best professional photographers in the area, has now expanded my photography into much more. Recently, some of my work has been used for posters to be presented to Disney World. Another project my photos were used for Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in a video that was presented to the President of India. I love catching the beauty and emotion of one of the most important days in people´s lives and telling the story of such a special day. While still offering the traditional formal photos that most couples like to have taken, I work hard to capture those hidden moments that the bride and groom may never witness, photographing the events as they unfold in a documentary, candid way. Some of the best photos of people are taken when they don´t know they are being photographed. I also look at all the little details that went into preparing for the day that due to all the hustle and bustle might otherwise go unnoticed - details that are important pieces in telling the story of this wonderful celebration. I shoot all digital files using high quality Canon equipment. Digital photography allows me to shoot an unlimited number of photos as well as offer savings since there is no film cost. Every image can be developed in full brilliant color or classic black and white. As you can see from my gallery, my other photography interests are nature, animals, and musical events, as well as family portraiture. |
